Changing Lives Throught Opening Minds

The quote that comes to mind as I put this mission statement together, and the main purpose for this organization is “There are two great days in a person’s life—the day we are born and the day we discover why”. William Barclay

As I heard this statement for the first time I had overwhelming emotions sitting in a crowd of 1,000 people holding back my tears, at that exact moment in my life as if I have had a moment of clarity. I have a moment of mixed emotions, anger, pain, joy, depression, sadness, as if a weight was lifted from my shoulders. I finally realized why I have made it to the top of my career, and had great success and built riches, but still had this emptiness in me as if I haven’t found my calling, my purpose.

At that exact moment I realized I was put on this earth for one reason, and one reason only, to inspire the world! I was destined for greatness, and I was given the gift of influence, leadership, charm, and magnetism to help others figure out there PURPOSE!“People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within.” Romana L. Anderson.

We find ourselves constantly looking for this answer, but spend more time planning events and vacations then planning our lives. It is my belief to find happiness, you need to spend more time learning about you, and what brings you joy. When you do, you need to do it with so much passion it consumes you, as if you were put on this earth to do that, and only that! Your passion isn’t something that can get you to question it, it is undoubtedly with no hesitation, the one thing you have been put here to do. I and the Open Your Mind University team’s, only purpose in life are to help others do the same! To find this self-fulfilling prophecy called LIFE!
